Children school year 1 and upwards who feel comfortable sleeping away from home for a night are welcome at the church Sleepovers.
The children come to the Friday clubs as usual (Dazzlers, Beacons, Ignite and Lasers).
At 7.15pm we organise bedrooms and unpack. Supper together, a meeting and quiet games complete the evening.
Activities the next day may include singing, stories, teaching, quizzes, games, crafts and walks. There’s never enough time to fit everything in!
Several of our leaders are qualified teachers or nursery workers and all youth workers have had enhanced checks by the Criminal Records Bureau. We have been running events of this kind for over 30 years.
