Alpha at Fartown
Each session begins with refreshments and a chance to chat with others. Next a short talk is shown (on DVD)  looking at a different aspect of the Christian faith each week. This is followed by a short time of discussion, where everyone is welcome to contribute their opinion, ask questions and discuss with the rest of the group.
Some people may prefer to listen without joining in the discussion, that will be fine; no-one will be pressured into doing anything they are not comfortable with.
Those who bring their children to the clubs might find this course particularly helpful; it will be a chance to find out what we teach the children on Friday nights, as well as a pleasant evening out among friends.
Update
Those who attended our recent course found it beneficial. Some have said they realise they're on a journey to understanding God. There will be opportunity to reunite at similar evenings in the future.
The next Alpha course will be advertised on the diary page.
